Another beautiful set of marking pins from Cohana. Decorated with a colourful Mizuhiki knot, the pins, as always, are made in Hiroshima.
Mizuhiki is said to have originated in the Asuka period. An ancient Japanese art form of knot tying. The string-shaped Japanese rice paper made by traditional methods is wrapped in thin strands of silk or painted to provide colour.
