Short answer, No. Wax melts do not evaporate and they do not expire.
Unlike candles where the wax is burned, wax melts are warmed in a wax melter. As wax melts are warmed, the fragrance oil within the wax evaporates into the air, leaving behind the solid wax. Once all the fragrance has been released, the unscented wax remains in the wax melter tray. You can safely dispose of this wax and replace it with a new melt
Our wax melters require a tealight to warm the wax. We believe that this is the best combination to release the fabulous fragrances of the wax melts but also to add the ambience of a flickering tealight candle to your home.
