Within our hand dyed yarn Collection is our new range of Sock Yarn UK. This is mostly British wool spun in Yorkshire and hand dyed in small batches in Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. All yarn is hand dyed with ethically sourced natural dyes, there are no exceptions! Occasionally, undyed sock yarn is also available for you to dye yourself.
What is Sock Yarn or Wool in the UK
Traditionally, Sock yarn is also sometimes referred to as fingering weight yarn. It is a popular choice for knitting socks but also for knitting baby clothes, hats, shawls, cowls, or other small projects.
