Three fibres blended to create this mottled soft yarn. Polwarth for strength, Yak for softness and Silk for a subtle shine. The grey base creates the heathered look once dyed.
Spun in Yorkshire - hand dyed using ethically sourced natural dye in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
All of our yarn is hand dyed in small batches. If there isn't enough for your project, email us here and we will dye to order.
Fibre Content - 60% Polwarth 20% Tussah Silk 20% Yak
Yarn Weight/Length - 4PLY 100g/400m
Needle Size - 3.25mm to 3.75mm WPI 18/20
(needle size will depend on the fabric you require for your project)
Yarn Care - Wash by hand in a pH neutral wash to avoid changing the natural colour of the fabric you have created! Dry out of direct sunlight.
