FAQ's Gift Cards - How they work

Gift Cards Sent by Email

How do I buy a gift card?

You buy a gift card in the exact same way you would purchase any other product in the on-line shop, (Go to Gift Cards in the Shop). Our gift cards have no additional processing or shipping fees. 

What items on the website can be purchased with a Gift Card?

Gift Cards can be redeemed against items on the website including items on offer or sale.

How do I get my gift card by Email?

The gift card will be emailed to you at the email address you provide in the Checkout, or you can send it to the recipient's email address directly. 

Does the gift card have an expiry date?

No, they are NOT time limited.

How do I redeem a gift card against a purchase?

Add the purchase to the Shopping Basket. Enter Billing Address information and enter the gift card code into the box, "Have you got a Gift Card code?" 

Can a gift card be used to buy a gift card?

No, you can't use a gift card to buy another gift card.

Can a gift card be used to pay for shipping and taxes?

Yes, gift cards are applied to the final order total which includes shipping and taxes.

Can I apply a discount code to my gift card purchase?

No, discount codes cannot be applied to gift cards.

Can I customise the gift card redemption code?

No, the redemption codes are randomised and printed by the gift card manufacturer. The code is a unique code for each card.

Why can't I see the full gift card code after I issue the card?

Gift card codes are considered currency, so only the customer can see the full gift card code.

Refunds

Refunds cannot be issued against the purchase of gift card

Physical Gift Cards sent by post

Physical gift cards work in exactly the same way as electronic cards with the exception of -

• the cards are posted to the recipient and NOT sent by email
• gift cards under £100 will attract shipping and insurance charges.
• the card can only be used once and cannot be used in part. If the full amount is not used in one purchase, it will be lost. 
• the recipient uses the card code in the Checkout to redeem the card value 
• Refunds cannot be issued against the purchase of gift card
