Wax melts are warmed in a wax melt burner as opposed to being lit with a match. Wax melt burners can be a flame-less electric wax melt warmer or a traditional wax melt burner, (see image below) where the wax is warmed by tealights. Follow these steps to discover how to use wax melts.
Once the wax melts are warmed to a liquid, they release their fragrance. As soon as you extinguish the tealight (or switch off the electric warmer), the wax will harden, and the fragrance will end. After a number of hours, the wax melts will lose their fragrance and can be replaced with a new wax melt
Wax melts do not evaporate. Your quantity of wax will always remain the same, but the fragrance will disperse, and the intensity will lessen with each burn or warm the wax melts. You can usually get a few burns out of your wax melt depending on the strength of the scent and how long you burn your melts for each time.
A Candle Chandler? - "a maker and seller of tallow, wax candles, and also usually soap".
We are a modern-day candle chandler, hand pouring soy wax candles using traditional methods and skills but also other fragrance items such as reed diffusers and wax melts. Our eco-friendly candles are made from sustainable and renewable plant-based candle waxes.
Our wax melts are, vegan and cruelty free - not tested on animals. Each melt will last 6 to 8 hours depending on how you burn them.
Located in Pembrokeshire Wales, our ethos is defined in the three words...
