We hand pour our candles, diffusers, wax melts and refills in small batches in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Without exception, all our candles are hand poured by us in our purpose built candle workshop - we do not 'buy in' or resell candles. Our candles are handmade and hand poured in Wales - truly a Welsh candle company.
Welsh Candles - Signature and Celebration Day Wales Candles
Signature Candles
Our Signature and 3 Wick Candles all have Welsh names, for example Hiraeth, Dolau (Meadows), Cwed Cedrwydd (Cedar Trees), Ffresni (Freshness) and Glan y Môr (Seaside) - Cwed is Pembrokeshire dialect for Coed (trees). These Signature Candles are made in matt white and grey glass jars with branded oak wood lids and are finished with a wood wick - 3 wick candles have 3 cotton wicks. Beautiful Welsh candles and fragrances, part of the beauty of handmade products.
Celebration Days Wales Candles
Our Celebration Days Wales candles remember times of year of special significance to Wales. Handmade in beautiful ceramic candle jars with specially curated fragrances. The jars are handpainted internally, sealed and cured for candle waxes. Hand poured Welsh candles for celebration days in Wales!

- St David's Day, 1st March, Patron Saint of Wales
- Owain Glyndŵr Day, 16th September, the last Welsh Prince of Wales
- Cilmeri Day, 11th December, remembering Llywelyn ein Llyw Olaf (Llywelyn the Great).
Welsh Candle Chandler
A Candle Chandler? - "a maker and seller of wax candles".
We are a modern-day candle chandler, hand pouring candles in small batches in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Our wax is made from natural Soy Wax or a Soy and Coconut wax blend and is cruelty free and vegan. We do not use any paraffin waxes. The wicks we use are eco-friendly wood or cotton wicks that contain no metal. Our candles contain no dyes, parabens or additives.
Welsh Candles Company
We are based in the rural SA37 post code of Pembrokeshire, and we are asked from time to time, "is Pembrokeshire in Wales"!! Well, yes, it is. Pembrokeshire is on the southwestern coast of Wales and, as the crow flies, we are nearer to Ireland than to Cardiff!! If you need to visit us, we will send you a map to help you find us.
Candle Accessories
All handmade candle lovers need a selection of accessories to enhance the perfect ambience of your home fragrance experience. Candle accessories, like, wax melt burners, wick trimmers and snuffers can be used to make your candles last longer, or burn cleaner, but can also keep their fragrance smelling as good as the first burn. To light our candles, choose the beautiful Archivist matches. The boxes with the long matches and extra-long matches are amazing and far too beautiful to throw away!

Candle Safety
It is always important to treat your candles safely and with care. Please note the follow candle care advice...
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Place candles on a stable surface away from flammable objects.
- Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
- Extinguish candles before going to bed or leaving the house.
- Do not place candles too close together.
