At FelinFach, our products mission is governed by these three words;

We specialise in wool blankets of different sorts and sizes, but they are all hand woven in Wales. They are hand woven on traditional looms from 100% pure new wool. None of our wool blankets for sale are 'vintage' blankets or second hand blankets.

Wool Blankets - Sizes

We aim to stock wool blankets and throws in the following sizes. As our wool blankets are all hand woven, we can often sell out of the products if demand changes significantly.

Each product image states the sizes and weights of the wool blankets and throws. As a generally rule, most wool blankets in the Welsh Blankets Collection are approximately 175-180 cms x 140-145 cms [ 70 inches by 55 inches]. 

Handwoven Welsh Tapestry Blankets

A stunning addition to any home, traditional or contemporary. Using pure new wool on a 1930's Dobbcross loom, each step to produce the tapestry is woven by hand using the skills and processes of yesteryear. There can be between 1700 to 2500 individual warp threads that are tied on to the heddles of the loom by hand. The ‘double weave’ design produces reversible blankets that are practical, hard-wearing and genuinely warm.
