Our online yarnshop contains all our products, services and print material related to wool, knitting, crochet and crafting. All our yarns are carefully sourced from responsible yarn producers in Wales and the UK together with some specialty yarns, for example, yak, alpaca etc..

Yarnshop - Hand Dyed Yarn
Our hand dyed yarn is handmade in small batches, only with natural dyes, from the finest British and Welsh yarn in our FelinFach Dye Studio, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. All hand dyed yarn is made by us - we do not 'buy in' any hand dyed yarn for resale.
By using quality natural fibre and sourcing ethically produced natural dyes, we are able to produce beautiful hand dyed yarn. The colours from natural dyed yarn are enthralling. Hand dyed yarns may be repeated but they can never be exactly the same. The natural dyeing process will depend on where the dyestuff was grown, how and when it was harvested, the fibres being dyed, and the method of application we use. Yarnshop - Yarn Bowls
Our yarn bowls are designed by FelinFach in ceramic with our unique, distinctive and much-loved leather handles. Each bowl is individually hand made. Once complete, the leather handles are made and finished by hand at the FelinFach Dye Studio. We use traditional, vegetable tanned leather sourced within the UK. Out ceramic and wooden yarn bowls can hold 100-gram balls of wool and yarn.
Natural Dye Craft Courses
If you are interested in dyeing your own yarn, our natural dye kits which contain everything you need to start your natural dyeing journey. If, however, you would like to fully immerse yourselves in the natural dyeing concept, you could try a Natural Dyeing Craft Course for 1 or 2 days in a purpose designed Dye Studio with expert tuition.
Learn or develop your skills in our FelinFach Dye Studio with a range of courses. Expert tuition in a professional, purpose designed dye studio environment with Half-day, 1- and 2-day courses. - Wonderful accessory from a very reliable company - I am thrilled to bits with my ceramic yarn bowl - quite the best I have ever seen. It is heavy enough to stay firmly on the floor, holds even a large ball of wool firmly in place, so I will no longer end up with knitted garments that need a wash as soon as I cast them off! I chose a colour that matches out lounge furnishings and it sits on our marble fireplace plinth as attractively as a regular ornament. The leather handle makes it easy to carry from one location to another.
