Just announced the stands layout for Yarndale 2024 - we are in Stand J6 - the same as last year.
A show, a fair or even a festival celebrating wool in all its forms. Yarndale brings together an impressive selection of makers, crafters and exhibitors, passionate about all things wool. Having been to Yarndale both as an Exhibitor and as a member of the general public, it is a fantastic day out/weekend exploring all things wool.
Yarndale in Skipton, Yorkshire, is the next Yarn Festival we will be attending as an Exhibitor in 2024. Yarndale 2024 is open from 10am to 5.30pm on Saturday 28th, and 10am to 4.30pm on Sunday 29th. Our Stand will include all our hand dyed yarn, dyed only with natural dyes. We will also have a selection of other yarn related goodies from Books and Magazines (Laine), handmade yarn bowls and bags and organisers from muud, Re:Designed and Thread & Maple.
The Yarndale Show celebrates the brilliance of yarn in all its forms. The show features over 200 exhibitors from all over the UK and beyond, showcasing a wide range of yarns, fibres, accessories, and finished products. Whether you're looking for hand-dyed wool, luxury yarns, artisan yarns, or vintage-inspired yarns, you're sure to find something to suit your tastes and budget.
Our hand dyed yarn is dyed in small batches from Welsh and UK yarn together with some specialty fibres.
Our hand dyed yarn is dyed only with natural dyes, there really are no exceptions!
We have been hand dyeing yarn with natural dyes for over ten years and now offer Natural Dye Workshops to learn how to hand dye yarn with natural dyes. Recently, the Knitter Magazine featured an article about hand dyed yarn at FelinFach and the tutor of Natural Dye Workshops.
Complementing our hand dyed yarn, we have handmade ceramic yarn bowls and leading brands in the knitting, crochet and crafting world, such as Cocoknits, Cohana, LYKKE, muud, Re:Designed and Thread and Maple. Also available are knitting, crafting and crochet books and magazines from world leading publishers, such as Faire and Laine.
Launched in January 2010, the Campaign for Wool brings together leading figures from the fashion industry, interior design, wool carpet manufacturers as well as the world of insulation and building.
FelinFach has been an official supporter of the worldwide Campaign for Wool for many years and is listed on the Campaign's official supporter's web page. FelinFach is committed to the ethical sourcing of British wool and always looking for environmentally friendly yarn.
Located in Pembrokeshire Wales, our ethos is defined in the three words...
